If i may explain,
1. The e-mail from where the spam was sent is irrelevant. (since it can be easily spoofed)
2. The host itself where that scam page was hosted, was or still is compromised.
3. There is NO actual proof that any of those two companies mentioned above are involved, other then some fake e-mail address and a folder with the company's official website name. (like any other scam pages)
Now this retarded blogger believes that the well known newspaper sold a huge amount of e-mail addresses to that company so they can use them for spam, which i think in fact it's just bullcrap to gain more attention from the Media.
Second example is to show you, how the actual spammer whom has sent those e-mails, could gain access to some or even similar e-mail addresses.
Last week while surfing the web looking for new compromised websites i found this very interesting forum, well let's say that's a hotspot for such called hackers, crackers and more, where you can find 101010111 vulnerable or compromised hosts, for some there are even usernames and passwords ready to login and have fun! for others just application versions and some hints to gain access.
Well in less then a minute i found this website which was compromised for some time and exposed to more then 10101011 hackers, now after a few clicks i ran into this
which looks like a database with sent e-mail addresses, marely like any other contact list, but what's more funny is that in less the 2-5 minutes you can gain access to 30-50K+ e-mail addresses with no trouble at all, no phishing or hacking skills whatsoever, you have there all the details on the table ready for you to take and use for any purpose you wish.
Yet again this retarded blogger believes that a newspaper would sell their own database for spam, who on earth would pay for something like that in 2009? when even a 5 years old kid can get them for free with a couple of queries on a search engine in less then a minute.
Now if i were that company or the newspaper, i would sue that retarded blogger for the damage he did, to both of them, so next time when he tries to spread false rumors, to at least get his facts straight before publishing something like that with no proof whatsoever.
